Personal & Group Tuition

Everyone learns how to produce music through videos and books, right? Wrong!

Yes, I make a great range of videos and e-books — and you can learn loads from those. But books and videos can never take account of your own experience and current skill levels. You have to trawl through it all to find the nuggets that are relevant to you. It can be like finding the proverbial needle in the haystack, and it can take ages!

A better, more rapid approach to learning audio production is a tightly focused course with your own tutor — someone who can tailor the course to your own personal needs, who takes account of your experience and helps you build on it. Someone you can see face to face and interact with, who you can ask questions, and who can give you constructive feedback on your progress whenever you need it.

If you are a small studio owner and want to produce commercial quality mixes why not bring your mix to Eddie’s studio and let him guide you through the mix process explaining each and every process.  Alternatively, if you cannot physically make it to his studio, send him your mix and he will mix it with you remotely via file sharing and call services like Skype.

Bespoke Audio Tuition

Samplecraze’s Eddie Bazil — a hugely experienced and respected Grammy Judge, producer, remixer, sound designer, and audio-production writer  — offers bespoke tuition for individuals and small groups, which will give you much more than you’d ever learn on an off-the-peg university course and for a much better price!

Courses can be delivered using one or more of the following approaches:

  • In person, in Eddie’s studio in High Wycombe, UK.
  • In person in your own space (subject to distance and travel expenses)
  • Online, via Skype/Zoom — which allows you not only to talk to and see each other, but also to see the screen of each other’s computer — and other easy to use tools.

Eddie is a fantastic tutor I had the chance to come across and work with for a couple of years. He is so human, easy to communicate with and always there to help when you need. His skills and techniques are simply impressive! If you wish to take your mixes/production and sound design to the next level I would highly recommend him because he helped me a lot throughout my musical career!!!

    Aiden William

Finding Eddie’s one 2 one service was a game changer for me , I couldn’t finish a song and had no hope of getting anything signed.

Eddie took me back to basics and covered everything from sound design to mixing to arrangement, in a clear and concise way that I understood. I now have numerous releases under my belt, and have just been signed to my number 1 choice label, Steve Lawlers Viva music, thanks for everything Ed, couldn’t have done it without you.

    Shane Hopkinzsigned to Viva Music

As a former professional musician who now works privately in my own studio, I am so glad to have had tuition from Eddie Bazil. The engineering techniques Eddie taught me have upped the production quality of my music to another level. I can thoroughly recommend Eddie to anybody looking for tuition; not only does he have an enormous amount of knowledge and experience, he’s also a friendly and fun person to spend time with. Highly recommended.

    Eddy DeeganSongwriter, producer

Eddie clearly loves teaching and sharing his vast music industry knowledge and technical experience with his tutees. His easy-going yet structured and methodical approach has allowed me to grasp some complex production fundamentals that I have spent years struggling with. This has brought the joy back into music making for me. I highly recommend this legend in the game!

    Phill LaneSongwriter, artiste and producer

Samplecraze: a fantastic source of information, has helped me out tremendously and given me that edge in my tracks from creating beats, getting a solid low end, and some special JEDI techniques for mixing down and mastering.

    Baz BeswickArtist, songwriter and producer

I wish there be more specialists like Eddie. He is rare. His knowledge is deep, like Nas’ lyrics. His vast experience covers nearly all if not all aspects of contemporary sound engineering – sound design, mixing, mastering, effects – with added bonus of hardware knowledge and down to earth attitude. Eddie is also an author of many books that explain topics comprehensively – another big plus, especially for those who can’t afford his lessons for some reason. Thanks to Eddie my basic recording skills have improved big time. Looking forward to keep improving!

    Alex SuninsSongwriter, producer

Anyone can be a ‘teacher’, but it takes a remarkably special person to do the title justice – Eddie is one-of-a-kind in this rare breed. He understands the craft of music production like no other; I learned more in my first lesson together with Eddie than I ever had through college or online resources. I wish that I had found him sooner!

Zane ShawSongwriter, producer, sound designer and tutor

Eddie is a great man. Not only is he patient and breaks things down to make sure you understand them. But it also great to hear his early stories working in the music industry.
